This course provides an introductory preparation for the C2 Proficiency exam, covering all exam tasks and skills. With a flexible and responsive syllabus, the course allows time to address emergent needs, identifying and closing any gaps in learners' proficiency along the way. This paced, 20-week approach is ideal for students seeking foundational exam readiness rather than an intensive preparatory experience.

Throughout the course, you will familiarize yourself with each section of the exam, from Reading and Use of English to Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Lessons will incorporate authentic materials, fostering meaningful conversations while helping you build language awareness.

This course is an excellent fit for students who view the exam as an opportunity for language and professional development and who plan to take the C2 Proficiency exam after a year of preparation.
What I offer
Authentic: I make use of authentic materials in my lessons. These are texts which have been written in English for speakers of the language. These materials connect learners with the English-speaking community and broaden their knowledge not only of the language but the world as well.

Reactive: the language we study isn’t pre-selected or prescribed–on the contrary, my goal is to help you fill in gaps in your knowledge. This means we’re going to study aspects of the language (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation…) that are necessary to you.

Relevant: our discussions will typically revolve around your experiences and your views on the world. Also, the feedback I give you is based on your needs, wants and specific context.

from you
This course has a flipped element. This means you will be assigned a task each week so as to prepare for our meetings. These tasks are mandatory and part of the course workload, so make sure to consider this extra time (from 30 to 60 minutes a week) you will spend on them.
